WSG also recruits seasonal staff from February onwards to work on nursery and packhouse sites on the Isle of Wight and in Kent in the UK.
Staff are made up of local people employed directly and students from EU and non EU countries supplied by Concordia and International Exchange Program.
We are looking for people to fill the following positions:
Picker (Seasonal)
Picking tomatoes in line with a customer specification and general horticultural tasks as required. Working within industrial glasshouses in temperatures ranging from 18ºC to 34ºC.
Packer (Seasonal and Permanent)
To pack tomatoes to the customer specification using production machinery within a packhouse/factory environment.
Crop Worker (Permanent)
To maintain growth and yield of plants within glasshouses. Expected to care for plants and be able to detect any pest and disease which may be affecting plants.
